b2ap3_thumbnail_EE3_20131104-195327_1.jpgThe Collage Company was lucky enough to be allocated a place at the well-know EEC (Early Early Christmas!) Fair last month. Held in the grounds of the beautiful Tedworth House, the Fair raises much needed funds for both the ABF The Soldiers Charity and Help for Heroes. The collages were much admired and generated a lot of interest as truly original Christmas gifts.

The Fair gathered together over 90 varied stallholders who brought a wide range of products from food to a multitude of gifts, with the emphasis being on items suitable for Christmas lists. With a preview evening which offered shoppers the chance of a glass of Champagne and canapés whilst they browsed, followed by a full seven hours of shopping the following day, the event was really well attended and raised a staggering £30,00 for the charities.

Tedworth House is one of four Recovery Centres run by Help for Heroes which form part of the Defence Recovery Capability, offering 360 degree holistic care to the wounded. The centre offers activities and life skills to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and helps them to get back doing what they enjoy most,  whilst equipping them for the new life which lies ahead. It was very  inspirational seeing many patients and their carers out and about in the grounds.

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity,  gives lifetime support to both serving and retired soldiers and their families, providing a much needed lifeline to those in need. Both worthy causes indeed and a timely reminder of how lucky we all are generally in life.

Do you have war memorabilia stored away in a box in a cupboard gathering dust?  Why not contact me, Emmy, to see if we can help you to create a beautifully framed collage that canbe displayed on a wall in a place of honour.  Call us today on 01420 562 208 or contact us via our website...

Emmy Watt set up ‘The Collage Company’ in 2010 after finding a gap in the digital photographic market. Instead of creating photo books, which end up on the shelf along with long-forgotten photo albums, they wanted to find a way of getting all your favourite photos out on show and still produce a quality product. Taking their marketing and design experience they have taken the traditional collage idea into the 21st century...
